Appeal Co-ordinator - Neil Westbrook was appointed by the board of Trustees in April 2004, initially in a part-time capacity, but since September 2006 as full-time Appeal Co-ordinator. Neil’s role is co-ordinate all fundraising activities of the charity, including organising fundraising events, promoting awareness of the charity and its objectives, assisting community fundraisers who wish to support the charity, and managing the day-to-day operations of the charity.
Prior to his appointment, for 15 years Neil ran his own business, a successful marketing agency which provided event management services, brand identity, advertising and marketing communications services to businesses in the technology sector.
Community Volunteers - Neil is aided on an ad hoc basis by a variety of community volunteers, and by members of staff from the WNC, all of whom give their time freely and without whose help many of our fundraising activities would not be possible.
