| Event Description | We are delighted that La Grande Mare Golf Club will again be the venue for what will be our 4th Annual Guernsey Golf Day. For the last three years, the event was jointly and generously sponsored by RBSI/Lombard, and our grateful thanks go to them for that support. For 2010, we're delighted to announce that Insurance Corporation have agreed to take over sponsorship of the event. Indeed, they have committed to a three year sponsorship deal, ensuring that the event will continue through 2011/12. La Grande Mare is situated on Guernsey’s glittering west coast, adjacent to the beautiful and sandy Vazon Bay. Set in over 110 acres of private grounds, it incorporates a full 18 hole golf course which, with numerous ditches and water hazards, rewards accurate golf rather than just the long hitters. Further details can be found at www.lgm.guernsey.net The competition is for teams of four, with consecutive tee-offs from the first throughout the day. Celebratory and commiseratory drinks at the 19th will then be followed by an evening dinner and prize giving, together with a charity auction. Entries will be limited to around 25 teams of four and the cost per team will be £300, inclusive of corporate sponsorship of one of the 18 holes, sponsorship of the longest drive or nearest the pin competitions, or the charity auction.
