| Event Description | This year, we’ve teamed up with ‘Across the Divide’ – specialists in organising and managing charity fundraising events – to provide our supporters with two exciting events in which to participate and (hopefully) to raise funds for our appeal. The first of these, Just Walk, offers the chance to enjoy breathtaking views across the picturesque West Sussex countryside. In fact, Just Walk is four different walks in one, with route options of 10km (suitable for most walkers), plus 20km, 40km and even a 60km for those looking for a sterner challenge! Regardless of which route you choose, you’ll start and finish from Goodwood Racecourse, and ‘Across the Divide’ provide professional support in the build up to the event, and throughout the day itself, ensuring you have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding walk. What's provided prior to the event: - Full event pack upon registering - Full event plans throughout the build up to the event - Monthly newsletters with all the latest event information - Training and fundraising advice - JUST WALK advice and info on the website and at the end of the phone What's provided on the event: - Medical support team and lots of TLC from our staff - Complete safety back up - Regular ‘Power Stations’ along the route with, snacks, drinks, support, big smiles and encouragement. (Number of Power Stations varies according to length of route, and most also have loos) - Hot drinks at the start and finish - Packed lunch on route (not provided for the 10km walk) - JUST WALKED T-shirt (not provided for the 10km walk) What's provided after the event: - Newsletter with all the gossip from the event! - JUST WALKED certificates Entry prices (to cover costs involved in staging the event) are as follows; 10km Family Walk - £15 (children under 12 entry is free) 20km Family Walk - £45 (children under 12 entry fee is £10) 40km Medium Walk - £55 60km Long Walk - £65 Your entry fee will need to be paid to ‘Across the Divide’ in advance. However, walkers raising sponsorship exceeding £100 for the 10km walk, or over £150 for the 20/40/60km walks (£60 for children under 12) will be entitled to a full refund of their entry fee (this will be reimbursed by the charity, not the organiser).
