Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit
This unit has 7 intensive care beds and 6 high dependency beds for patients following cranial/spinal trauma, major post-operative neurosurgery and those with acute neurological conditions. The 13 beds can be used flexibly and are fully integrated with the rest of the Centre. Support accommodation is also available within the Unit.
Ward C - Adult Neurosurgery
This 25 bed ward accommodates patients with acute neurosurgical conditions.
Ward D - Adult Neurosurgery
This 26 bed ward accommodates patients with acute neurosurgical conditions and has side room facilities for private patient care.Children's neurosurgery. This five bedded recently refurbished area is for children with neurosurgical conditions. Facilities are also available for parents to stay.
Stanley Graveson Ward - Adult Neurology
This 21 bed ward admits patients with acute and chronic neurological disease.
Paediatric Neurosurgery Ward - C Level
The paediatric ward provides accommodation for up to 6 children including one in the newly built paediatric video-telemetry suite (funded by the Smile4Rich Appeal)
Day care unit
This 4 bed facility accommodates patients undergoing single or multiple investigations or minor neurosurgical procedures.
