To date (April 2008) our current appeal has raised £87,000 toward its goal, so thanks to the generosity and efforts of many people from across the Wessex region, we are on target to see work on creating this much-needed facility commence later this year. As part of the project, we’ll also be carrying out some refurbishment within the Children’s Neurosurgery Ward to provide upgraded kitchen facilities, a new nursing station and improved storage in the children’s play area – so this project will benefit all of our paediatric patients, not merely those with Epilepsy.
Detailed plans have already been drawn up and we are currently hoping to start building works in August 2008. However, if this is to happen on schedule then we still need your support in order to raise the remaining amount needed to complete this tremendously important project.
